The Power of Being Seen: The Inspiring Journey of Jessica Franco

As we close out the month of March, we take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate one more amazing woman who has excelled in her career?in the financial services industry. Today, we're thrilled to close our series with Jessica Franco, who was recently recognized as a winner in our company's International Women's Day celebrations.

Jessica has been with CheckAlt for 10 years, where she currently serves as a lockbox specialist, processing and reconciling financial transactions. Her journey in the banking industry began in 2004, where she worked as a head teller and electronic banking specialist before transitioning to become a personal banker.

When asked about the challenges of being a woman in the industry, Jessica shared that while things have improved over the years, there is still work to be done to achieve true equity. However, she found motivation in seeing other women in leadership positions, including her current boss. "When I see women in leadership positions, it says that we have a voice. My current boss – she’s so supportive, capable, and when you have a question, she always responds so quickly to help solve your challenges. When I see her, I think -?I want to grow, I want to be like her," she said.

Chatting with Jessica, she shared her passion for learning and helping others through her experience. Outside of work, Jessica finds joy in spending time with her family, especially her two daughters, who she gets inspiration from. She enjoys taking vacations and playing tennis and volleyball with her family. Jessica finds joy in the peaceful work environment, where she feels supported and appreciated by her colleagues.
