THE POWER OF ALUMNI: MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR ALMA MATERS THROUGH THE 4TH ALUMNI GOLF CHALLENGE

The just-concluded 4th Edition Alumni Golf Challenge held at the Royal Nairobi Golf Club drew alumni from across the country, representing 85 high schools. Among the participants was Joseph Kioko, an alumnus of St. Mary's Seminary School in Kwale, who emerged as the overall winner of the event with a stable ford point of 40 and a handicap of 20.
But beyond the glory and prizes that come with winning the #tournament, Kioko's victory has helped to raise funds for needy students at St. Mary's Seminary School. He received a #bursary fund worth one hundred thousand Kenyan shillings and twenty thousand Kenya shilling worth of newspaper from Nation Media Group , all of which will go towards supporting #education at his former school.
The success of the Alumni Golf Challenge is just one example of how alumni can use their skills and experiences to make a #positive impact in their alma maters. By participating in events like this, we not only give back to our communities but also inspire the next generation to aim for excellence.
As alumni, we have a unique opportunity to create a lasting legacy and inspire others to follow in our footsteps. The upcoming 5th Edition Alumni Golf Challenge promises to attract even more #golfers and #alumni from across the country, and we encourage all executive alumni to take an active role in their alma maters and support them in any way possible.
