Adaptability is like a superpower, especially when we’re thrown into a fast-paced, intensive program like Bangkit. Throughout my journey in Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka 2024, I’ve discovered that to thrive, I needed to master adaptability in five key areas: interacting, achieving, learning, working, and thinking. Here’s how each of these played out for me.
Ways of Interacting: Building Bridges, Not Walls
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." – Helen Keller
Tackling diverse interactions in Bangkit taught me the value of adaptability, especially since English is mandatory, which initially posed a challenge for me. Additionally, I was new to using Discord, our main platform for group interactions. At first, it was challenging, but with practice, I grew more comfortable ??. By actively connecting on LinkedIn, participating in discussions during weekly consultations, and collaborating with my ML-75 team, I focused on listening and keeping an open mind. This approach helped me connect better with others, enhancing both my teamwork and communication skills, and contributing to my personal and professional growth ??.
Ways of Achieving: Setting Goals, Crushing Milestones

I also balanced self-study with collaboration and breaking down complex material into smaller tasks. I stayed motivated and realized that adaptability is key to lifelong learning and success??.
Ways of Working: Smart, Not Just Hard
In Bangkit, I need to manage many tasks. To make things easier, I use Google Workspace and create a daily plan to stay focused??. Platforms like Coursera and Dicoding sharpened my machine learning skills, while discussions with mentors and peers guided my growth. I prioritize working smart by setting manageable goals, pacing myself, and taking breaks to stay balanced??. This approach helps me learn and overcome challenges effectively and efficiently while maintaining a balanced workflow?.
Ways of Thinking: Embracing a Growth Mindset

During Bangkit, my biggest shift was adopting a growth mindset. Through ILT soft skill sessions, I learned to see challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. This mindset helped me approach problems creatively and find solutions holistically, also viewing setbacks as steps toward improvement??. Adapting my thinking this way made me more resilient and open to continuous learning
