Kenneth D., our regional operations manager shared his thoughts on the outstanding efforts of our team:

"I just wanted to add that our techs do some unbelievable things in the field. Our techs are a rare breed due to the amount of travel/windshield time they go through to get to a far job site. It's is a part of the business that no one knows about and is rarely talked about. The skill set of our techs is unmatched in the industry. We are experts at what we do, and the capabilities are endless with our team. I’m very pleased to be able to lead a team with such great personal and work ethics and willing to drop everything to ensure the safety of not only their families, but also Powell’s customers. This has been the case for as long as I can remember and this team makes my job easy because of their professionalism and expertise."

Chris P.

Chris is a Powell Lead Tech with vast knowledge in switchgear and testing. He is highly respected by leadership and peers alike. Before the hurricane arrived in Houston, Chris left for Belize City to complete a major project for Powell. Despite the difficulty of this decision of stepping away from Texas to finalize the project, Chris’s dedication remained unwavering.

Bernardo S. | Ivan C. | Gama R.

Bernardo is a Powell Senior Tech with excellent skills in switchgear and testing, Ivan is a Powell Lead Tech specializing in electrical testing and relay tech, with a strong background in mechanics, and Gama is a Powell Lead Tech experienced in manufacturing work and testing. These three incredible employees were in Hawaii before the storm. After making sure their family and communities were safe from the weather and power issues affecting the South, they left to focus on high level weather and power solutions for our customers. The dedication to these customer solutions and ensuring our field operations ran smoothly is more than what Powell could ask for in its employees. Their hard work and valued skills are greatly appreciated.

Sean R.

Sean is a Powell Senior Tech with extensive experience in switchgear/breakers and testing. During the storm, Sean was working in Taylor, Texas. After taking shelter himself, he drove home to assess the damage to his home and local community. Once the damage was listed as safe and noncritical, Sean drove back to Taylor to complete his project and to wait for power to return to Houston.

Sebastian is a Powell Senior Tech with expertise in PowlVac breakers and switchgear. During the hurricane, his home took on a bit of damage during the storm, but he remained focused on spearheading projects in Taylor, Texas. He communicated greatly with his wife to make sure his neighborhood was not in weather's way and the surrounding community prioritized the safety of it residents.

Frank P.

Frank is a Powell Technical Training Instructor with deep knowledge in PowerVac breakers and switchgear. He was in Belize City, conducting training and working on a project for Powell, leaving to return to Houston just before the hurricane made landfall to ensure his family's safety. During and after Hurricane Beryl, Frank prioritized his family and community, helping neighbors in a time of need.
