Poverty is not Good News

Jesus brought Good News. Poverty and disease are not good news. Religion has tried to destroy prosperity and to celebrate poverty. Salvation is not complete without heath and wealth. God’s redemption plan comes as a threefold package: spiritual, material and physical wellbeing.
3 John 2:1 (NKJV) – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things (material) and be in health (physical), just as your soul prospers (spiritual).
Sin, Sickness and Scarcity originate from the evil one. You cannot be a Christian and advocate for sickness and scarcity. You cannot accept forgiveness of sins and refuse to accept divine health and wealth. If you don’t understand the tripartite redemption package, you have never understood the finished work on the cross.
On the cross, Jesus became poor that we may become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). I dare you today, if you live in poverty and afflicted by disease, you’re not fully redeemed. While the enemy can cause sickness in any of us, none of us should tolerate the spirit of infirmity.
In Luke 13:11-13, Jesus healed a woman crippled by a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. Jesus healed ALL manner of sickness and disease. It’s not God’s will for us to be sick and poor.
You were created to live abundantly, not sufficiently, barely making ends meet. You were not intended to barely pay bills and survive through life. You were created to cruise through abundant supplies.
In John 10:10 (NKJV), Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal (enslave in sin), and to kill (inflict sickness), and to destroy (property and prosperity). I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (that they may have life in full – spiritually, materially and health-wise).”
WARNING: In the next couple of days, I’ll write about prosperity. If you want to remain poor, stay away from this page lest you get offended and offend others. You don’t have to be rich and healthy. You can keep your poverty and diseases. Allow those who believe in health and wealth read these articles peacefully.
