Most people think about careers in parts. A job search, career advancement, the emotions of managing work, learning to manage and lead, dealing with workplace issues. I am someone who helps people look at their careers holistically. After all, success in one area does not determine success in another area. If you need advice about a professional scenario, schedule a Trusted Adviser session at www.TheBigGameHunter.us/session. If you are thinking of our working together over a longer period, use the same link to schedule a free discovery call.
"Nothing makes a person more productive than the last minute.”
??There are words we use that disempower us and words that make us appear confident in our work, especially in interviews. My guest, Tracy Hooper is the author of "The NEW Hello: WHAT TO SAY WHAT TO DO IN THE NEW WORLD OF WORK" and her newest book, The Now Hello: What to Say | What to Do In the World of Work"
??There is a story told about cellist Pablo Casals where he is asked about why he continues to practice even though he is 66, 80 or 95, depending upon which version of the story is being told. His answer:
Because I am making progress.
Too many people stop practicing and, thus, fail to make progress. This happens to people of all ages and all stages professionally. Keep practicing.
