??There is a story told about cellist Pablo Casals where he is asked about why he continues to practice even though he is 66, 80 or 95, depending upon which version of the story is being told. His answer:

Because I am making progress.

Too many people stop practicing and, thus, fail to make progress.This happens to people of all ages and all stages professionally. Keep practicing.

??I recorded this video 9 years ago. Although hiring is very very active, I am seeing signals of a slowdown. Being prepared emotionally for disappointment is important, too.

??The suggestions offered remain helpful as we go into the final half of the year.
