People who “can do a job” (potential) are not necessarily “will do a job” (performance). Hence, potential doesn't always translate to performance. Motivation acts as the catalyst, transforming potential into action. Think of it as a 'vehicle of motivation' propelling individuals to apply their skills. Motivated employees show heightened engagement, commitment, and perseverance. They not only complete tasks but do so with enthusiasm and dedication. Organizations that identify and nurture this motivation effectively bridge the gap between potential and performance.
You have indeed indicated a very crucial issue that must be carefully considered particularly while applyinv API580 and API 581 for RBI and perhaps most impirtantly for RBA ( Risk based assessment). There is a vast difference between active measures and proactive measures and unfirtunately industries often consider active measures of more importance than proactive ines.Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience and knowledge!
