THE POTENTIAL ENTREPRENEUR
To those who are wanting to start their own business, I listened to some really good tips by an entrepreneur himself, Mr John Stapleton who founded companies such as The New Covent Garden Soup Company and Little Dish amongst others. He spoke a lot of sense without all the frilly window dressing, so here are some of the tips he spoke of to help inspire you as a potential entrepreneur:
? Be authentic;
? Don’t follow someone else’s success. Other people’s success is the way THEY did it. Run your business the way that suits you. We are all different and reach our outcomes in different ways;
? Encounter adversity, because if you’re not you’re playing it safe;
? Have the courage of your convictions by believing implicitly in yourself and your idea/s;
? Don’t listen to the naysayers. An entrepreneur is someone who says ‘Let me show you how this WILL work’, when naysayers will give you 20 reasons why it won’t;
? Uncertainty is a friend to Entrepreneurs, embrace it.
