According to the internet, 64% of workers are currently using some form of AI at work, compared to last 4 year. Here is the resource to statics. The department of Human Resources is one of the representative parts of any company. It is directly associated with the lives of the employees that are working under the company. For optimal and efficient productivity, the employees need to have a good communication and healthy work environment.? Here is the role of HR is to make sure that every employee is feeling safe and getting the help they required, and make sure to provide them the effective space for creativity, and? intelligence so they can deliver excellent results.

Here comes the Artificial intelligence, that is one of the most advanced and expanding technologies these days. It has become the part of every department including HR and greatly helped them to grow. AI can automate and completes the majority of low value HR tasks so that more attention can be focused on the strategic management and scope of work. Although, we will be covering the strategic HR management using AI. AI has the potential to transform employee experiences in various ways, from recruiting to talent acquisition, by processing a huge amount of data quickly and more accurately than ever.

In this part of the article, I’ll go ahead and show you how AI can help you with strategic HR management, and that way if you need to come up with strategic ideas and initiatives in your company, you can come up with them faster and also lay the foundation for them faster when it comes to things like proposals and much more. Now, let's go ahead and dive in to see how AI can help you with just that. So suppose here we are with this tool ChatGPT, is an AI tool where you can put in a prompt, and it'll give you a response back. You can build on those responses and prompts, and it's a great tool for getting knowledge faster and just generating outlines of much more. One of the things I'm going to do if I have some questions that have to deal with strategic HR management, I'm first going to start at a high. And let's say, the question I'm asking is (The Prompt):

Provide a list of reasons that employees may be leaving my company to work at competitors.

Why are employees leaving my company? Now, there may be a number of reasons why employees are leaving the company, so let's go ahead and ask ChatGPT. What are some of the more common reasons? So, being a bit more specific. , and this is a problem that we can solve if we put in some good strategy in place. So we'll go ahead and dive deeper into this problem, but we need to start at a higher level first. And some things that can help here is if we have data to plug into the AI tool, which we can do a ChatGPT, but in this case, I’m not using any example data set. I’m just going to show you what you can do at a high level. So now it's giving us some reason. So they may be leaving for:

  1. Better Compensation
  2. Career Growth Opportunities
  3. Company Culture
  4. Better Work-Life Balance
  5. Dissatisfaction
  6. Lack of Recognition
  7. Industry Trends

And likely many other things as well. There are a lot of reasons that employees may be leaving a company, so we also want to get an idea of things that we do to. Employees from leaving a company. So what I'm going to do is say:?

For number two, what are ways to solve that problem?

There we go. So number two is career growth opportunities. Now it's going to give us a number of ideas that we can solve that problem with. So it's starting to get a little bit more strategic in our ability to address things still. So it's important again to look at data to make sure this is the exact problem that we need to solve. And we could also ask ChatGPT to tell us what data should we be looking at to know that this is a problem that we need to solve. So we're going to go ahead and do that next. Feel free to take a moment here so you can read through the prompts that we're putting in and the responses that ChatGPT is providing.

  1. It's said to solve career growth opportunity problems. So for people who don't think there is career growth and that's why they're leaving, we can have more open and honest conversations about their growth.
  2. We can provide training and development opportunities.
  3. We can create clear career paths.
  4. As well as encourage internal mobility
  5. And offer competitive compensation benefits.

So all those things can help there, but we do want to know whether we're solving the right problem. Are they leading because of better compensation elsewhere, or is it career growth opportunities? So we're going to ask ChatGPT, be like:

What are ways we can identify if employees are leaving the company because of competitive compensation?

So now it's giving us a number of ways to identify whether this is the actual problem that we need to solve. So we're going to:

  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Review market data
  • Also monitor employee satisfaction.

Now, there are a number of other ways that we can do this as well that I'm sure ChatGPT will continue to provide us. And we can also ask it to expand on any of these here. So we can say, what should we ask in an exit interview to our employees in this case. That way, we can get into the finer details of things when it comes to not just operating at a strategic level, but diving into the execution level. And then we could dive back up to the strategy level. So we'll say:

What is an ideal exit interview template to understand whether employees are leaving because of competitive compensation.

So rather than googling around and trying to create something from scratch, ChatGPT is going to give us a foundation for an exit interview that we can conduct right away, and that's great. So as employees leave the company, we'll be able to get better data from them to ensure that if they are leaving from competitive competition if that is the case. And as you can see on your screen, they put a whole section dedicated to compensation that's going to help us really get some good data. Now we also want to know what like KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) we should be tracking as well. So we have, you know, these things like analyzing feedback, monitoring employee satisfaction. This is all great, but like what are the KPIs that we need to track to ensure if people are leaving due to. Competitive compensation. So let's go ahead and ask what are key performance indicators to track to understand whether employees are leaving because of competitive compensation? Now it's going to go ahead and provide us a list of these indicators, which we can track in our HR system or wherever we do our track. Maybe that be Excel or other places.
