Posture Linked to Brain Health
Poor posture and cognitive decline are both associated with advancing age. In this study, researchers tested 160 neurologically healthy older adults to see if there's a link between one's posture and their ability to relate past events. The research team found that participants with poor neck posture were more likely to have difficulty with their episodic memory, but they advise that future studies are needed to determine the nature of the relationship.
