Postcards from the Edge
As some of you might recall, my interest in coloring began earnestly through detachable postcards back in 2014. It was fun and light project where I surprised friends/chosen family with a vibrant warm fuzzy for their mailbox that wasn't a bill or a piece of junk mail.
I've got time on my hands now and believe that I can play just a small part in brightening the day of my loved ones. Stepping into the inspiration to kick off this project again felt scary and humbling because I was confronted with the thought of "what good will sending off postcards do for the people who've lost hope or lost their livelihoods?"
I don't presume to know what comes next also knowing that everyone needs increased material resources to make it through this difficult time. However I am encouraged by individual acts of kindness that I have received and witnessed, and that sustains me to push through to engender a brighter future.
Below are my snapshots of the cards that have gone out last month. I'm working on 14 more surprises at the moment. Let me know in the comments which card you like best!
Be kind to one another!
In solidarity,
Tom
