Is This Post Suitable for LinkedIn?

Trick or treat! Well now, we all eat, don’t we? Personally, I like to have the energy to prepare for my everyday living and work. As in, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Okay, also some tasty snacks along the way, I admit). There’s really no question that this particular post is indeed business-related. Why? Because we all need to eat, and because a portion of the book sales of the unique, new Figure Skaters’ Vol. 2 Cookbook is earmarked to benefit figure skating’s Memorial Fund.

What’s the Memorial Fund?

The Memorial Fund was created following the horrific 1961 Sabena Airlines crash in which 73 perished in Belgium en route to the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague. Ever since, many have benefited from the Memorial Fund helping with their figure skating expenses—People such as Scott Hamilton, Peggy Fleming, and Dorothy Hamill. Incidentally, all three contributed recipes for this cookbook. The Memorial Fund still continues to help figure skaters today. And you can become a part of this living legacy, too, by purchasing this cookbook.

Over the past nearly 60 years, the Memorial Fund has contributed more than $15 million toward figure skaters’ expenses: training costs, ice time, and costumes. This coming Valentine’s Day 2021, think of not only red roses but also of the 1961 tragedy and the heartfelt joy over the years that initially sprang out of it.

A win-win

It's simple to help the Memorial Fund and also find a tasty recipe for yourself, family, and company. Submissions are from about 400 figure skaters, and all included their bios, too. You’re likely certain to enjoy your choice of 450 delish recipes. Find appetizers, beverages, soups, salads, vegetables, side dishes, main dishes, breads, desserts, cookies, candy, and other items. (I'm getting hungry just writing this).

It’s easy to order now; the all-new Vol. 2 cookbook is expected in mid-November, in time for holiday feasts and holiday gift-giving. (You may also order a Vol. 1 cookbook). The holidays begin soon. No tricks—So treat yourself!
