To post or not to post…..That is the question!

Your finger is poised in the air, a few millimeters from the mouse, hesitating if you should hit the post button…..I’m sure this dilemma has played out several times for you as #DigitalMarketers….to post or not to post !
So what’s the magic number? Is there really a magic number on what is the ideal number of posts in a week or day?
Here is my posting thumbrule: 1. Pause & think – can the story be told tomorrow? 2. Is it just a tick on the box ?– “Yes, I posted for the day!” 3. Has my follower had time to digest my earlier post? 4. Sometimes less is more! a. atleast a 3 hour gap between posts b. ideally 1 post in a day, sometimes 2 (tweets can be more), unless you are doing an FB LIVE event 5. Follow as much as possible what research shows by channel on post timing & frequency.(There's a link at the end of the article which I find useful !)
Ofcourse, don’t belittle the impact of social media by posting too little? What's the risk?
Drop in engagement rate
Unfollowers
Lost in the crowd
Eventually it all comes down to the post engagement rate to understand what content, timing and frequency worked to increase your fan club.
I believe you should post to give your audience the quantity and quality of stories they will appreciate the most !
So what’s your magic number?

4 年Hi Sheetal ... Posting frequency is less important than the relevance of what is getting posted . If this helps to showcase Atlas Copco in good light , then yes go for it ...These are just my thoughts
