A post-museum model

A post-museum model

Halfway between the public museum and today's corporate museum, we want to talk about the post-museum model: the completion of evolution and research in museology.

The museum evolution is manifold. The widest, known and supported is certainly the upgrade to digital. An enhancement that fits to topicality and adapts to the habits of those who go to the museum or, better yet, who do not go there.

This digital revolution is accompanied by many small revolutions that, intertwined in each other, make the digital as an ubiquitous element in our lives today. Even those who would not want to have anything to do with digital, at some point have to. And admit it: it's fun!

Today in a museum you must act, create intimacy with the visitor to enjoy the work/artifact, go back to the definition given to us by the ICOM with regard to the enjoyment, celebrate the creativity and maybe get this far to give a certain freedom in setting the spaces for the visitor.

We do not do cultural policy. We design the museum ecosystem as a whole. From the general space design by conceiving the most appropriate and adaptable scenography in these times that require flexibility and availability.

We use multimedia and stories to offer to the visitor an unforgettable journey. The museum becomes a place of enjoyment where you learn about yourself, about the world and also and above all about the area in which we find ourselves. Because we are passing through or because we live in.

A spatial storytelling at multiple levels. In a specific room. In a specific museum. In a specific neighborhood. In a specific city. In a specific region. In a specific country.

In short, the post-museum model is the one that gives back sense to the work/artifact thanks to a spatial storytelling.

Hope you enjoyed the reading again! See you soon!
