Strategies in place for physical, emotional and mental wellbeing being a priority of the workforce under monitored government guidance.
Offices will return and a new normal activates. Clients have already been putting flexible and voluntary office attendance plans into place.
What does that mean? Well it does vary across clients and profiles but here are some examples:
- 2 days minimum in the office (the rest up to you/manager)
- Office open 5 days a week, voluntary basis on when you go in
- Scrapping contracted hours
- 3 days in the office 2 days WFH
- 4 day working weeks
It's important to remember that in some instances the above will be tailored to your specific requirements; if you are junior < 2 years experience you will need on-desk training and therefore mandatory days/hours in the office will be put into place for your development. Same applies to certain markets and management responsibilities.
A lot of conversations are being centred around businesses investing heavily into technologies and working from anywhere solutions to ensure that productivity, communication and support is still highly effective and smooth operations continue.
Big increase in ‘health and welfare’ programmes. Ranging from social activities to support a happy and inclusive working environment and mental health support in the form of internal and external resources.
