The Post COVID Era – A Boon or A Curse?

Until the beginning of 2020, nobody in this entire world would have ever imagined what a small virus can do to us. This unimaginable tale started breeding in a small city of Wuhan in 2019, where our neighbor China has a lab named Wuhan Institute of Virology which is being attributed by many as the originator. This small virus kept spreading its wings at an alarming pace. Within a matter of few months, almost the entire world is engaged by this deadly virus. The most dreadful scenes of people dying due to this virus in large numbers had become a common scenario. The panic amongst people was pretty much evident on every individual's face.?Even the top economies of the world with the best of health care facilities were tasked with the daunting task of containing the spread of this virus. But this virus seemed to evolve and became a nightmare for all of us. Even the largest of economies were knocked down to their knees by this deadly coronavirus. The healthcare systems of all major and minor economies almost collapsed.

The Rendezvous with the New Normal!

Complete lockdowns for extended periods of time became a usual sight, and people all over the globe were being forced to stay indoors. It doesn’t matter who you are, from where you belong, irrespective of your caste, creed, or class, irrespective of your societal status, the entire mankind soon became captive to this deadly coronavirus. The healthcare experts, local authorities, local governments, and even the central government keep extending the lockdowns. All of a sudden, there was a growing demand for change in gear for manufacturing industries to manufacture masks, COVID supplies, medical supplies, pharmaceutical supplies, and whatnot. No industry segment was prepared enough and almost everyone struggled during COVID. The job losses, pay cuts in salaries, lack of any new projects, with almost everything being closed became the new normal, and a new work-from-home culture emerged. The entire mindset of people in authority has taken a dramatic shift. The scenario was so grim that even industry giants felt the heat, and struggled desperately to find a way out.

Still, There Was a Hope for Some in India – With The Largest Population to Cater to at Their Doorsteps!

Pharma, agriculture, and FMCG are a few industry segments that remained untouched from the ill impacts of COVID. Even during the worst of COVID waves, their infallible commitment to fulfill the daily needs and to serve such a large population with the best while still remaining in closed doors was a huge challenge. But the relentless efforts from our Industry Partners and experts are truly admirable. Their never-give-up attitude to this great challenge is commendable. The dedication from which our major industries operated and their valuable contributions in managing and maintaining the smooth supply chain should be lauded in full voice. As one rightly said, “Desperate Times – Need Desperate Efforts,” our industries have worked relentlessly throughout the pandemic to keep providing us with nothing but the best quality products at our doorsteps.

Desperate Times Also Call for Grabbing New Opportunities!

Converting a challenge into an opportunity is the need of the hour, and every visionary in our various and sundry industry verticals took this challenge to perfection. The production of masks, medical supplies, disposables, and PPE kits soon sky-rocketed to meet not only the domestic demand but also to fulfill and extend aid to neighboring countries.

Now Came the Force to Ward off This Deadly Virus – Our Own Made-in-India Vaccines

The stop of the surge of rising COVID deaths and limit the scariest impacts of this deadly virus, India has been able to produce and manufacture its very own vaccines. These vaccines, which were a product of long, extensive, and critical clinical research trials, have started bearing the fruits of health for all of us. First after successful trials of the COVISHIELD, and then COVAXIN, India soon became self-reliant in keeping its fight up against coronavirus. This gave all of us a great window of opportunity to come back strongly not in terms of keeping the coronavirus case numbers down, but also its time to boost our economic growth and GDP. Even though the industries were standstill for quite a while, the never say die attitude of our industrialists kept us moving, and our visionary prime minister too supported the entire nation in a very well-planned manner like a true leader to make all of us see through this deadly pandemic.

Anything that may or may not work today is a question that everyone is haunted by after the havoc created by this pandemic. This confused mental state of each individual is so grave that even the topmost people are rethinking, re-strategizing their energies and resources, and re-shuffling their plans to ensure enabling growth.?How, what, and why we should do a particular action is the question of every other person as people are too skeptical about the future outcome.
