Isabelle Zimmerman what do you mean feel calm? I'm busy at work, if not stressed out with zoom calls, emails and trying to get actual work done. Feeling calm at work, ha . . . like I have time.
Have you heard the saying be in the present moment? How about being aligned and focused? Be at peace? Be calm? But you feel anything but? Is this even possible at work?
Isn't it curious that we do not place our focus on internal peace? I know we often say we just want to relax. What you really want is to turn off your mind. That mind is in constant motion. It is why we use distractions to tune it out. And this is ok, but it doesn't really last.
Then the mind kicks off again!
Finding a calmness is a multi prong approach, just like selling, marketing, customer service, you name it. You do many things to accomplish your work. It is the same here. That mind is looking for answers and is trying to protect you, that's all. We call that the monkey mind or the ego. Now we need our mind and indeed you can calm it and focus it. Feeling calm, not only feels great, you are aligned. What do I mean when I say aligned. There is a mind and heart coherence, in short, a communication that is in balance and harmony, emotionally and energetically.

A lot of folks have heard about meditating but getting into a daily practice is a process. It is for us all. It is all ok. Let's start together right now. Something simple and quick.
There is a lot of science on coherence, through the breath. And it's kinda of cool that taking three deep breaths can change how your body functions, emotions and processing speed. Keep being curious my Scooby Doo Detectives. Go ahead and research around heart coherence and when you are ready . . . sometimes to get you on your way, we need a little coaching and mentoring.
