It Is Possible to Attract a Mate That Can Cover You & Handle Your Success!

Did You Know... is a weekly newsletter about Leadership and Personal Development for Women, touching on topics such as Creating Sustainable Conscious DEI and Conscious Leadership Programs, the Black and Brown experience in Corporate America, and Healing Workplace and Relationship Trauma.?

In this article, I will share as many resources as possible,

  • from healing from a broken heart to,
  • identifying the spirit of the person that is perfectly imperfect for you,
  • to the difference between dating as a grown woman vs. a grown-ass woman

All to help you be successful in love without losing yourself in the process.?

If, after reviewing these resources, you could use a coach to help you attract (and keep) the love you want without sacrificing your soul, I will share the link to my website, where you can learn about the Executive Relationship Coaching programs I offer.

Having been a dating, relationship, and marriage coach for Executive Women for over 20 years, February has a special place in my heart. It is marketed as the month of love, which carries a wide range of emotions and actually causes a lot of angst, anxiety, and even depression for those that find themselves single during this holiday.

Isn't it time you attracted a healthy relationship with a significant other who is not intimidated by your success nor wants you to dim your light to receive their love??

Is it something you might be interested in? Keep reading.

In my years solely focusing on relationships, here are a few things I know about the Valentine's Day holiday blues:

  • Many will go into debt trying to buy a gift to show how much they love their significant other.
  • Some will weigh the love of their partner by the amount of money they spend on a gift/trip.
  • Others dread the holiday alone due to a recent breakup or loss of a loved one.
  • Quite a few will measure their worth by their partner's complaints, past or present.?

So how do you handle this time of year if you are single? What is one thing you can do as a single woman that would be a perfect activity for you at this time? What can you do if you're tired of praying about it and need to do something about it?

You can get crystal clear on the spirit of the person that is perfectly imperfect for you.

Let's start by first acknowledging, then healing your broken heart. Since each of you is different, your needs may differ regarding healing. Here are two resources to help you. First is the link to?Episode 34: How to Heal a Broken Heart, and if, after listening to the episode, you need to take things a bit deeper and "do something," here is the link to the course?5 Ways to Spiritually and Emotionally Disconnect From Your Ex.

After you've acknowledged and started the healing process, you will want to get very clear on the quality of the person you want to attract into your life. What type of personality do they need to have that makes you feel seen, heard, adored, cared for, supported, and celebrated and is a safe place to return to after a difficult day of dealing with workplace trauma??

I like to use the word "attract" vs. find because, as a busy woman, what you want is someone that will be a compliment to your life NOT a complication. Nor do you want to take your chances on being "chosen" by someone that may look good TO YOU but is not good FOR YOU. You must know what you want and how to articulate it so that you can weed through the "mess" faster than before.

But how do you know what this type of healthy relationship looks like? Especially if you've never experienced it or witnessed it growing up.?

Maybe in the past, you've been clear on what you wanted, you expressed yourself early on in the dating game, or so you thought, yet they acted like they understood, played along for a while, and then started to change.?

You need to figure out why you keep attracting the same type of person in different clothing.?

In my book? The 5 Phases of Dating ~ The Grown-Ass Woman's Guide to Attracting and Maintaining Authentic Relationships, I walk you through several exercises in the beginning that help you through this process. One of the exercises is called "Your 3-Lists; The Must Haves, The Can Compromise On, and The Hell Naws!" I also share several pages worth of dating scenarios showing the difference between how a Grown Woman would handle it and how a Grown-Ass woman would handle it. You want to make sure to take advantage of this.

In my one-on-one Executive Relationship Coaching sessions, we have spent as many as six weeks digging up and removing the "old and faulty programming" from relationships past to uncover what a client TRULY wants and needs in a significant other.?

For this reason, and to help more women start on the path to attracting the right one while, at the same time, being able to identify them quickly, I decided to create a free masterclass with a downloadable workbook called "Can He Handle Your Grind?"?

In this free video masterclass, I go deep into each of the three lists, providing examples and explaining how to use practical and metaphysical concepts to help you attract the love you really want. **Note ** Please make sure to bookmark the training page, so you don't have to re-register to gain access. If done right, you will not be able to finish it in one sitting.?

All the tools I've shared with you will help bring awareness to the possible reasons why your relationships have not worked in the past. While you may have thought you were clear in what you wanted, expressing that to your suitors may have sent mixed signals.?

Do you have to change who you are to attract and maintain a loving relationship? Not exactly. You need to get clear on what has been standing in your way, begin working on healing in those areas, get clear on what you want in a relationship, and understand what it looks, feels like, and sounds like so that when you are in communication with a prospect, you can identify their dating potential without wasting any more of your time, energy, emotions or in some cases, resources.

Here is a link to the episode explaining? Why Choose (or listen to) An Executive Relationship Coach for Women. With over 20 years in the relationship coaching business, I have a proven track record in my personal and client's lives; healthy-authentic relationships are my superpower.?

Want to read a few testimonials and learn more about my Executive Relationship Coaching programs or more about the Keeping It Sexy 5-day Challenge (my favorite challenge to teach)? Go to the services page on my website, click on Individual in the dropdown, and then select?"Executive Relationship Coaching."

You should never have to jump through hoops or accept any abuse or disrespect to receive love. You need to know what you want to attract and how to do so.

To your dating, relationship, and marital success!!!

Give and take in a relationship should not damage me. I'm looking for a partner who is up to healthy negotiation!

"Some will weigh the love of their partner by the amount of money they spend on a gift/trip."--You know if it was only money, then we would not have breakdowns in our love relationships. It's easier to buy something than to be intimate because being intimate starts with being honest and loving with yourself.

YES, it is! But first we have to get rid of toxic beliefs that "this (abusive or incompetent) partner is the best I can do." ??
