The VIBE: Our wish for you
John: One thing I have found over the last four years or so on my self-improvement journey is that when I work on myself, everything else seems to go better in my life. If I am trying to become a better person, then everything in my life improves. If I focus solely on improving one area, such as my work status, it doesn’t see to work that way. Thinking that’s why the journey means so much to me. This is my wish – that everyone could see the same levels of improvement that I did in all aspects of life. Today, Nicole and I welcome back Kelley Anne, and she has a similar wish, don’t you Kelley?
Kelley Anne: If I was granted one wish in life, it would be that our insides would be reflected on our outsides. That way we would constantly be working on our inner self and have love for ourselves and others. There is nothing more I want than to serve others and others to pay it forward. There is so much more to my story than I have shared here. There is even more that I have been thru and overcame. Yet, there is no benefit to all of it unless I reach out to those who may have the same struggles. I want to encourage you to constantly persevere and simply envision who you want to be to achieve it.
My whole goal with creating fitintransit.com was to help those like me who are constantly on the go - living out of the car, airplane and hotels. Those needing a game plan to make the best decisions on what to do and how to fuel our bodies as machines, so we can get the most out of them. I have lived on both sides of life with making healthy and unhealthy decisions, and know the vast benefits of making beneficial choices. I have been practicing and creating ways to improve upon my process year after year. By sharing my experience and knowledge, I hope to inspire others to achieve their goals and surpass their expectations. It's never a diet -- it's a lifestyle. We must each educate ourselves and make the right choices! I have learned to respect my body. I want it to reach its maximum potential, and I am the one in charge of how I treat it. There is NOTHING like achieving a goal that you once thought was “impossible.†YOU are the ONLY one who can limit your possibilities. Embrace the challenge, focus your mind, surround yourself with supportive people, and strive for success.
“Enter every activity without giving mental recognition to the possibility of defeat. Concentrate on your strengths, instead of your weaknesses; on your powers, instead of your problems.†– Paul J. Meyer
Nicole: My wish is to help people achieve their goals, dreams and desires. This is why I was put on earth; to help and to serve. If I can make a difference and help anyone out any way that I can I will do it. We are all here to support one another and lift each other up. Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of resumes in my inbox to review and provide feedback, or people are asking me how I got into clinical research and if I can help them get a job. I always take time to write back, provide feedback and take calls. If I can be that one person that helped them get that job, promotion or raise, it would be a blessing. As the old English proverb teaches us: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
