#PositiveVibes - Answers Are There

I am a reader. Always have been. I think it explains my love of writing. Both of my parents were readers. My dad always had the newspaper in his hands when he would sit down after dinner; my mom, some sort of Jackie Collins-style novel with a great protagonist battling against some sort of antagonist.

What amazes me is how many people don't read. I also count podcasts and YouTube videos in there. to me they are audiobooks. Someone has already figured out what you want to do and it sometimes is just a matter of you finding it. The answer is already out there - you just have to look for it. Once you do, read it and absorb it.

Herein lies a great metaphor for life. So many times, the things we want to do — start dating, change jobs, go on a vacation or some place that we have never been to, seem almost impossible to accomplish. We don’t have the time, money, connections, confidence. It almost feels as if there’s a solid wall between where we are, and where we want to be.

And yet the answers are already out there; somewhere. You just have to find them and absorb them.
