The Positive Side of the Week 5-31-24
There is a Greek proverb that states “Whatever is good to know is difficult to learn.” There are many worthwhile pursuits in life, to me one of the most important pursuits is knowledge. In this season of graduations, we celebrate the achievement of education. Yet this is only the beginning of the educational journey. Some will matriculate to college, some will attend a trade school, and others will join the workforce. Whatever path you pick I encourage all to continue to pursue knowledge. Education does not have to be limited to a classroom.
“The person who knows everything has the most to learn” a great quote from Bob Phillips reminding us to put our walls down to continue to learn. There are lessons to be learned daily. In your personal or professional paths, we can take value in learning. In my industry there are plenty of opportunities to learn. You can attend the Eastern Funding LLC Laundry Business Workshops (we are coming to California and New York details in previous posts but link to register below). There was recently the Excellence in Laundry Conference, trade shows, seminars and more.
As Journey says, “Don’t stop Believing.” I would add do not stop learning. Like Robyn Roberts who at 63 years, grandmother of 33 and great grandmother of 12 received her bachelor’s degree. Or Joyce DeFauw who at 90 received her bachelor’s degree. If you are graduating this year congratulations and may you keep learning and growing.
