Organizations are able to operate with resilience when leaders keep themselves balanced between thoughts and actions and instill it to the team.
But it is not only this. We need that our leaders and teams are aware about some critical concepts that will make them more resilient and furthermore more successful.
Resilience is not only bouncing back but when more resilient we are we have more skills in the ability to grow from challenges.
Employees must be aware that our physiology affects our resilience, so it is very important to care the health and build healthy habits.
It is also very important to know our character strengths. Mastery, knowing where our talents and strengths are together with a growth mindset will be also critical for our resilience. So, define small and easy goals fast to achieve and you will get some motivation that invite to continue. It is also very important to build something to shoot in the long term. Meaning and purpose in our professional life will be a key success factor for our success.
If we understand more how our emotions affect us, which talents and strengths are our best skills more possibilities we have to get more self-regulation and self-efficacy respectively, also both a critical variable for resilience.
We can conclude that with three types of skills, mental, emotional and physical we can improve substantially our resilience.
We could still add spirituality and social skills that could culminate all the skills relevant and necessaries for empower us.
Resilience is teachable and trained in the workplace and can improve our well-being and success. The improve of our employees in that performance should bring us in a more resilient and successful organizations.
