Positive news about pay!

Positive news about pay!

It's great when we hear positive news from the construction sector and we were delighted to read that earnings have risen this summer for self-employed contractors in construction, or 'subbies' as you are affectionately called.

?? Self-employed tradespeople saw their average pay reach £1,028 per week in August, which was a rise of 1.2%.

??♂?Bricklayers average pay reached £1,032 up 4.6%

?Demolition workers average pay was £1,025 and also rising, up 3.5%

Great news! You're a precious commodity with amazing skills that continue to be in demand. So it's even more important that organisations keep you safe on site through training and education, and that you keep your mandatory training up-to-date so you can continue to work.

Enjoy the rewards - you'e earned it.
