Salary / Rate: Grade 3 - $37-$46 PH + Super (DOE)


Purpose of this position:

This position assists Technical Services, which is part of the City Infrastructure and Traffic Operations Unit, by performing tasks associated with the asset management, condition assessment, risk assessment of stormwater assets. This position will identify projects requiring maintenance or renewal and develop scopes for these projects and prioritise the work using the systems and processes available at the City.

General Requirements:

? Support the asset management, maintenance and capital works planning of stormwater assets, to ensure they meet the City objectives in regards to the agreed project scope and best practices such as standards, guides, specifications, as Crime Prevention through Environmental Design and water-sensitive urban design principles functionality, environmental performance, safety and risk.

? Assist with managing contractors associated with the assessment of stormwater asset condition.

? Utilise the processes of the City and keep records of work and decisions in corporate systems including TRIM and CAMS.

? Complying with all responsibilities as detailed in the City’s Work Health and Safety (WH&S) Management System and WHS Procedures Manual as amended from time to time.

Technical Scope:

? Determining the scope of works required to restore the service potential of stormwater assets.

? When necessary, undertake site inspection to better inform the scoping works of stormwater assets.?

? Determining priorities for works identified considering works already identified in existing programs, including emergency works, using a project risk assessment and prioritisation tool.

? Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and others in the City to achieve outcomes

? Managing large quantities of asset data and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.

Education:?

? Degree in civil engineering,?

? Current class C drivers’ licence
