Poseidon introduces the advanced line of PEEBD {Poseidon Emergency Escape Breathing Device}
The advanced line offers both 3,000psi and 4,500psi options from a single uniquely designed 1st Stage Regulator, allowing Users to upgrade from the base model 3,000psi systems to the 4,500psi system without the need to purchase entire new systems, with a low profile 2nd Stage Regulator which also adds to the Users comfort with the Regulator taking up less space on the Vest.
The PEEBD systems are made of a hi grade aluminium design, offering Users weight advantages, along with a choice of either Covert Military Matt Black or Overt Commercial Hi-Vis Matt Yellow colouring.
The systems utilises a hi-flex hose system ensuring no matter the angle of the head, the 2nd Stage Regulator remains comfortably in the Users mouth, as well as a Nose Clip as standard.
Both systems offer the use of either the 3,000psi Aluminium or 4,500psi Composite cylinder measuring 180mm long x 50mm diameter, ensuring Users and Fleet Managers do not need to alter any Life Jacket/Survival Vest EBS retaining system/pockets.
The systems have been independently tested and approved by NATA approved Laboratories to 16,875psi, as well as tested and approved via the independent NATA Approved Labs or Government approved facilities for the following approvals; EN250, Compass Compatible, ANSTI Breathing Effort, the PEEBD's are conformant to CAP1034 and prEN4856
The PEEBD can be Sustained locally without the need to return to Poseidon, with Acquisition and Sustainment cost advantages over other competitive brands, with a guarantee of supply of Refurbishment Parts in a timely fashion.
