POs, RFQs, MRP—all the acronyms!
Hello there!
This month we have several webinars—both live and on-demand—that we’re sure will add value. We’ve also got articles, live events, and even a dad joke. Where should we start? You’re right. The dad joke. Read to the end for the cheesy punchline.
What did the ocean say to the beach?
Alright let’s get started. First:
PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Each month, we highlight one of our rockstar partners! The simple truth is that SourceDay would not have the success we do without wonderful partnerships with folks like?Allison Ellis?at?Godlan. She’s the EVP of Sales, and she was kind enough to sit down and share some of her experience so far.
SourceDay: Tell us a few random/interesting/fun facts about YOU!
Allison:?I am not a fan of vacuuming. I recently purchased a battery-operated leaf blower to use indoors. It works great! Drives my tweens crazy and makes my husband laugh. Definitely recommend. We have two words we’re not allowed to use in our house: 1. “Hate” and 2. “Fine” All other words are acceptable. Also, I have broken 16 bones, all at different times.
SD: What is a 2022 bucket list item you’d like to check off?
Allison:?We’re taking a family trip to Iceland!
SD: Tell us a little about your company. What does Godlan do?
Allison:?We are manufacturing performance consultants who drive digital transformation. We focus on Infor’s Syteline and Prophecy’s IoT solutions to create quick time to value and real-time visibility to our clients.
SD: What problem do you solve?
Allison:?Our purpose is to deliver complete visibility into business processes allowing manufacturers to run accurate and efficient operations. We create customer-centric experiences focused on leveraging technology for ERP and IoT. Our team is lasered in on two things: manufacturing and embraceable change management.
SD: How do you solve it?
Allison:?Godlan’s highly-skilled and experienced team of business and technology professionals understands that each customer is making a significant investment with their employees’ involvement and critical company resources. We take these investments seriously and focus on 4 implementation philosophy principles:
SD: What makes your solution different than anything else in the market?
Allison:?For over 35 years, Godlan has successfully implemented?effective ERP solutions?in the manufacturing marketplace. Our success, however, is not measured in units sold, but in customer satisfaction. We make sure?our ERP clients?achieve their business objectives. Simply installing software—even an enterprise system—and training users on its use provide little guarantee that a company will be more competitive in the marketplace, let alone realize a sufficient return on its investment. As an Infor Syteline ERP manufacturing software partner for over 25 years, you can rest assured that because we know the software and its capabilities inside and out, we won’t rest until we know you do too.
SD: What do you do for your company?
Allison:?I take on anything and everything that is going to drive transformation for our customers and prospects and lead an empowered team who goes beyond the norm for their clients and community.
SD: What makes you so good at your job?
Allison:?Oh my… still trying to figure this one out. I enjoy going beyond the norm in everything we do. We are constantly asking ourselves ‘how.’ How do we make it easier for our clients to work with our organization? How do we help our employees find their purpose? How do we improve how software is selected? We implement ideas and act on feedback quickly. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect impact.
SD: What initially attracted you to the SourceDay solution?
Allison:?We saw a need in our customer community for an automated way to manage complex supply chains.
SD: Why did your company decide to partner with SourceDay?
Allison:?SourceDay has a proven success record within the Infor Syteline ecosystem and provides long-term value to our clients.
