Portuguese Highlights of the Best wine Tourism Awards 2022

The awards are awarded annually by the Great Wine Capitals Global Network, an international cooperation network that currently brings together eleven cities from different parts of the world and which share the fact that they have internationally recognized wine regions, which includes Porto.

The attribution of prizes is divided into two stages, since, in the first phase, there is a regional competition, in which projects are selected in each of the member cities of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network, in the categories of Accommodation, Wine Restaurants, Architecture and Landscape, Art and Culture, Innovative Experiences, Services, and Sustainable Practices.

Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta, in the Douro Valley, was one of the 10 international winners of the Best of Wine Tourism Awards 2022, awards that are considered the Oscars of wine tourism and which were awarded on Thursday, at a ceremony in Mainz, Germany.
