Can you tell us what guided you towards interim management ?
Throughout my career, I've been driven by two passions : communication, primarily in the corporate domain, and the international aspect. I spent many years working within large corporations, but at a certain point, I realized that the international dimension had lost its significance in my professional life, and that the time had come to take on a new challenge. So, I decided to take a bold turn. Initially, I was not entirely sure of the direction to take, but gradually, it became obvious that I should use my expertise in communication to assist various companies. Finding my first clients was an interesting challenge. I quickly understood the importance of articulating my profile well and highlighting my expertise, which greatly facilitated initial contacts. In 2023, I embarked on my first interim mission with Lincoln, marking an exciting new chapter in my career. This change not only allowed me to reconnect with my love for the international sphere but also to share my rich communication experience with those who needed it most.
What advice would you give to a manager hesitant about transitioning into the interim world ?
I highly recommend engaging with experienced interim managers to gain insights into their experiences and seek advice. It's also wise to get introduced to a reputable firm. Networking is crucial in the interim field. Once you have launched, it is important to keep your network and partners informed, optimizing your intermission periods.

And on the other hand, if you were to give advice to companies still hesitant to engage an interim manager, what would it be ?
The professional landscape has significantly changed, especially since Covid. The first major shift was the acceptance of remote work and the second could be the openness to temporary collaborators. This offers more flexibility. Interim managers come with in-depth knowledge of the industry and great adaptability, giving employers time to consider their next steps: continue with temporary solutions, extend the contract, or recruit long-term. By engaging an interim manager, you avoid rushing into hiring under pressure. It's a solution to gain time and calmly contemplate the future.
