Portions Zises

I am eating out a lot, mostly for the fantastic price of restaurant food here in Spain. I also eat very small. My problem is that I ask the waiter or waitresses to give me 1/4 of potatoes and veggies and it seems to newer get to the chef. I have noticed lately that the order is made on a small handheld thing that looks like phone and my question is, is there no way to tell the chefs my special requests on that machine? I am concern about food waist and if I can I try to have not more food put on my plate than I am going to finish. Nothing is more overzise than fries, so many times as much as 2-3 baked potato, grosssss. Just a thought. Sorry for my spelling.

No apologies needed Chef...your point is well made. Whether it’s Spain or the USA food waste is a global problem. I see it daily at both of my work places and it’s heart breaking especially when you see people going through the garbage cans at restaurants in order to get food to eat
