Towards the end of the year 2020, with the pandemic weighing heavily on the economy and on restaurant visits, both out of fear and financial concerns, the restaurant business had to reinvent itself to survive the ongoing crisis.
A family-owned restaurant in Faro was struggling to keep its doors open due to a lack of reservations.
In this context, a quick solution was created for the restaurant to start selling, in this case for home delivery.
The brand Bomburgers - digital and artisanal hamburgers was created. Essentially, this brand was a dark kitchen with exclusive home sales. It allowed the restaurant to overcome the difficulties it was facing and to keep its staff employed.
This enabled the restaurant to sell more than 600 hamburgers per month in the first few months.

With #nocode tools, anyone can learn to do this in a short amount of time.
How was the sales circuit for the customer and the production management for the restaurant set up?

The landing page was produced for free using HubSpot 's software, whose buttons directed to a page with the menu and form.
After the order (form) was filled out, it would go directly to the kitchen, through an integration with the Trello platform, which generated a card/order in the NEW ORDER column. This allowed any staff member to know at what stage the hamburger was, whether cooking, in delivery, delivered, among others.
At the same time as the order entered the kitchen tablet, it was also automatically recorded in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. This provided immediate access to results, the popularity of each hamburger, customer consumption, among other data.
Let's not forget that this was a solution created to save a restaurant from bankruptcy. No need for beautiful and expensive solutions. Here the space was for efficiency, effectiveness, and low implementation cost.
From HubSpot to Google Sheets and Trello , the connections were made through Zapier , which is, by the way, a very good solution for automations that have to be done in a short amount of time.

Here is another example of how #nocode tools can be used to generate easy-to-implement solutions, often with no initial costs.
