The concept debuted at the 2000 Paris Motor Show, featuring a carbon fiber chassis and advanced aerodynamics, receiving overwhelming praise. Encouraged by this response, Porsche developed the production version, which launched in 2003 with a 5.7-liter V10 engine.?
Originally, Porsche aimed to produce 1,500 units, but only 1,270 were made between 2004 and 2006 due to changing safety regulations and market conditions. It remains an icon of pure driving pleasure and is considered one of the greatest supercars ever produced.
