Pondering on Scripture and Career - 2023

??Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed in Faith, Family, and Career ??

Dear LinkedIn community,

Welcome Back to my continuing article titled?Pondering on Scripture and Career. I took quite the break recently 12 months to be exact. So I apologize for those who wanted to see more editions in that timeframe, however, welcome to the 2023 edition as I look to go quarterly perhaps. I will just have to see where God leads me on this one. :-) As a reminder, I continue to ask for forgiveness for run-on sentences, punctuation errors, etc... I am not an English major (Grammarly does help though ;-) )... I am just a person who loves God, Family, and my Career.

I hope this post finds you all in great spirits. I write today because I am taking a few moments this evening to reflect on the past 12 months. A lot has changed in this timeframe and I can see God's hand now all along the way. As I ponder it, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey I have embarked upon since joining ISPN Network Services in January of 2023. This year has just been nothing short of amazing and a true blessing for me and my family, and I am humbled to share how God's guiding hand has played an instrumental role in shaping my path.

Relocating my career to ISPN and yet being able to still live in Ohio on the homestead has been a pivotal move that has touched every facet of my life. My faith, the Homestead, and the many relationships in the telecom industry have all grown leaps and bounds, as I've witnessed God's providence unfold in unforeseen ways.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

I firmly believe that 100% I am exactly where God needs me to be, and this conviction has brought an unparalleled sense of purpose to my faith, family, and professional journey.

My family has been an unwavering source of support throughout this transition. However, they don't always like it when I am traveling, we will get to a balance there I am sure. Their resilience and adaptability remind me daily of the importance of cherishing the bonds that matter most. Together, we have embraced this new chapter, turned challenges into opportunities for growth, and been able to do so many adventures that otherwise we wouldn't have been able to embark on. This all has led to our unity only deepening, and for that, I am immensely thankful.

Professionally, the growth and learning have been exponential. The existing relationships I brought with me have flourished, reaffirming the value of genuine connections. Moreover, this year has introduced me to many new faces, each contributing uniquely to my journey. The ISPN community is a testament to collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence. It's a privilege to be part of such a dynamic team.

As I continue to evolve both personally and professionally, I look forward to the relationships that are yet to be formed, the challenges that will further refine me, and the milestones that lie ahead. I find solace in:

Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I am grateful for the lessons learned, the blessings received, and the unwavering faith that propels me forward.

In sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to embrace change with an open heart and to recognize that every step is part of a larger, beautifully orchestrated plan. Also if you see me at a tradeshow or event you will notice I always wear my cross on the outside of my shirts prominently. This has been a reminder to me of my faith and led to so many opportunities to share testimonies with many people all over the world that I likely would never had the chance to meet and greet as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus otherwise. Therefore, let us all continue to support and uplift one another, fostering an environment where growth in faith and profession together knows no bounds.

Thank you, ISPN, for welcoming me with open arms. Thank you, friends and colleagues, for your encouragement. And above all, thank you, God, for placing me precisely where I needed to be.
