PolyRhythm comes to Wynwood with their party "?Levántate!"

A friendship and musical journey of over 14 years has led two talented and visionary friends to a vibrant and successful musical career. The Latin blood that runs through their artistic veins is evident in their process of creating and consolidating a brand within the demanding New York electronic scene.

They are PolyRhythm, one of the duos with the greatest exponential growth in the industry, based in New Jersey. PolyRhythm is composed of Cuban-American DJ/Producer David Menendez, and Uruguayan-American DJ/Producer Val Carrique, with a combination of musical influences that makes them unique.

Since their beginnings, there was a magical connection with house music that has taken them along the paths of this imposing genre. After a journey of exploration and musical maturity, they have become a reference for the colorful and enigmatic Afro House genre, as well as the groove and rhythmic vibes of Latin House.

The definition of the name PolyRhythm arose after the creation of a series of very successful parties that the duo organized on the New York circuit, making their audience associate them with that name that would later become their stage name.

PolyRhythm’s eclectic sounds and elegant musical line have led them to be signed by different record labels, including GoDeeva, Defected, Made in Miami, Union Records, SwitchLab, Sunset Gathering, Merecumbe, VillaHangar and Tortuga Tribes. Their constant releases have penetrated the international scene, such as the rhythmic single “En El Barrio” and the hypnotic “Cabo Verde.” Their most recent release, a powerful remix of the single "Mooi,” has climbed important and very prominent positions on specialized charts. Among them, "Cherish The Day,” reaching #1 in Traxsource's Afro House category, and “Come Find Me,” which reached #1 on the House charts in South Africa. Likewise, Oscar P’s single, “The Drum (PolyRhythm Afro Latin Remix),” took over the #1 position on Traxsource’s Afro/Latin/Brazilian Chart.

David and Val have stood out in their career with PolyRhythm, achieving recognition and musical support from other great artists such as Pablo Fierro, Oscar G, Peppe Citarella, Mijangos, Hector Romero, Osunlade, Sparrow & Barbossa, Hallex M and Black Coffee, where the latter included “Personal Jesus (MKTL & PolyRhythm Bootleg),” achieving an explosive exhibition.

Their high level of performance and shamanic music has taken them to tour large club circuits, including Musica NYC, Pacha NYC, El Patio Miami, Spazio West Palm Beach, Revival Toronto, Bazart Montreal, Wet Stories Santorini and Club Chinois Ibiza. In addition, they have been part of the “We're Here” event in Ibiza by DJ/Producer Pablo Fierro. Their energy extends beyond the DJ booth with their own radio show called House con Leche within the Club Sabroso Radio Network platform, as a new window to remain strong. They have also launched their own record label called PolyRhythm Music which is already waiting for demos.

This entire magical ritual and demonstrable journey full of music and vibrant energy will be exhibited starting August 8th in the beautiful city of Miami, captured in a monthly party and with an impeccable production. They will be arriving at an ancestral residence that will be called ?Levántate! (Get Up!) at the emblematic venue, El Patio, located in colorful Wynwood. It will be a sound experience with great guests where, under the enchanting mantle of Latin house and Afro Latin, they will debut on August 8th followed by September 12th; and ending in the middle of Halloween week on Thursday, October 31st, segueing into Levántate! — the go-to event for a discerning audience looking for a standout venue and experience in Miami's glamorous nightlife.
