An innovative environment demands even more play. Play is not just an activity; it's a state of mind that brings new energy and sparks creativity. Hence I am sure you enjoyed the last activity in the below article:
The polymers we have discussed in the above article are insulator. Although by 1970 some of the polymers were re-discovered with respect to its conducting properties (like polyacetylene, polypyrrole, polyaniline etc) known as conducting polymers. Conducting polymers or, more precisely, intrinsically conducting polymers (ICPs) are organic polymers that conduct electricity. Lets watch a quick video for understanding their history and mechanism for conduction:
Hope you enjoyed the above video. Well, application of conducting polymers are enormous and here's another beautiful video for the same:
Lives are made up of millions of choices. Same is the case with conducting polymers and I am sure the above video justify the fact. The advancement of polymer nano composite is taking us one step closer to a magical wonderland of Science fiction movies. Some of the fantastic projects include:
1.Transparent solar panels
2. Origami Dvd player
Bonus interesting video to keep you thinking:
I will share more details in future article. So, stay tuned.......:)
