Not long ago, Polygon entered into a partnership with London Nothing Tech to produce the company’s new Nothing Phone.?

Polygon and Nothing Tech have been already working together for several months. The partnership plans to define how users could best access Polygon-based decentralized applications on the Android mobile platform.

According to Arjun Kalsy, Polygon’s Vice President of Growth, their initial plan is ?to provide the Android-based smartphone with quick access to Polygon-platform apps and games, and Polygon ID, a user identification solution that utilizes zero-knowledge proofs.?

In one of the latest interviews, Kalsy also said, “look at any Android or Apple phone, or log in with either a Google ID or an Apple ID, and to an extent, Apple or Google owns the customer… In a decentralized world, we need to help the user take back control.”

Disney Selected Polygon for its Web3-Focused Accelerator Program

Disney has chosen Polygon network for its 2022 business development program.?Entertainment giant Walt Disney announced six companies are joining its 2022 Disney Accelerator. Polygon network was the only cryptocurrency project among those 6 companies.?

The business development program is designed to accelerate the growth of innovative companies. According to the announcement, Disney is focusing on emerging technology in the field of immersive experiences this year.

This includes Metaverse and augmented reality, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and artificial intelligence (AI) characters. Disney has tapped Polygon for its scalable properties, allowing developers to build Web3 experiences.

Polygon remains one of the most notable crypto projects developing in Web3. We will see what happens next, and it is also very interesting to see what other crypto giants will show. Of course, all this only positively affects Web3 and makes Web2 to Web3 transition easier and more real.
