Polyamine Experiment for Boiler Water Treatment

Ensure the quality and effectiveness of your boiler water and steam treatment with Polyamine , brought to you by Horizon Chemical. Discover the remarkable benefits of Polyamine through this insightful experiment:

Experiment Procedure:

  1. Prepare a 0.05% Polyamine solution using demineralized water.
  2. Place two carbon steel plates (corrosion and scale-free) in separate containers. One in demineralized water, and the other in our 0.05% Polyamine solution.
  3. Mix the plates and solutions for a few seconds.
  4. Allow them to sit for 1 and 2 hours.
  5. Test their hydrophobicity by introducing small droplets.

The Results:

  • Plate immersed in demineralized water after 1 and 2 hours: High wettability, strong solid/liquid interaction.
  • Plate treated with Polyamine after 1 and 2 hours: Low wettability (excellent hydrophobicity), weak solid/liquid interaction.
