Fresh expertise and experience are needed to secure the restoration of the House and Grounds
Poltimore House is an amazing Grade II* listed building. Thousands of people have fallen in love with it during their first visit, and many keep coming back. The House and Grounds are owned by Poltimore House Trust, a charity which now has ambitious plans for its restoration as a focal point for the arts, business, communities, and wellbeing.
We’re building a team of people who are passionate about bringing Poltimore House back to life. As our plans develop, there is a rapidly growing need for new Trustees and Associates who can bring a wide range of expertise to our work.
Trustees are responsible for overall strategy and governance, but may also be involved in activities such as preparing grant applications or overseeing specific projects. Time commitment is flexible, but as a minimum it involves participation in Board or Committee meetings on average twice per month. We are particularly interested in people with expertise and experience in:
Associates offer expertise and practical assistance in diverse fields including all of the above. Time commitment is flexible, and we are particularly interested in finding people willing to undertake specific projects as well as longer term engagement in helping to achieve our vision and objectives.

There are also numerous opportunities to join our team of Volunteers, helping to restore the House and Grounds and to work in our exciting new Branches Café.
