The politics of the Supreme Court is supposed to be apolitical....

This kind of reinforces my and any objective view of the political and social crisis America is faced with. Either we build on the legacy of Obama or we (as a electorate of free people) choose to abandon those lofty ideals and embrace the rule of power and not reason as our national character.

 The opportunity to fill the immediate vacancy on the Supreme Court with all deliberate speed, is the duty of all three branch's of government, but especially the burden to nominate and confirm rests squarely with the President (Executive) and the Legislative branch. To play unnecessary politics and delay having a full compliment of the Constitutionally mandated number of judges, is to undermine the effective governing of our country.

Any and all guilty of this kind of promotion of partisan selfishness and absurdity, is likewise guilty of undermining the Constitution and in effect becoming other than patriotic, however much they drape themselves in Old Glory and beguiling rhetoric.
