Politics Is Over, Back Tinubu - Sule To Obi
Nasarawa State Chief Executive, Abdullahi Sule, has called on the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, to back President Bola Tinubu in the task of handling the development challenges going up against the nation.
As per a Monday statement by Ibrahim Addra, the Chief Press Secretary to the Lead Representative, Sule tossed the challenge when Obi paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Lafia.
He said that Sule told his guest that there is time for politics and time for governance, encouraging Obi to take advantage of his wealth of experience and expertise to back the Tinubu administration in the task of building a secure and prosperous nation.
“I want to also call on you Sir to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The country’s challenges cannot be resolved by one person only. We all have roles to play” Governor Sule said.
He thanked Obi for his endeavors at padding the impact of the financial difficulty on the people just like President Tinubu and all state chief executives are right now doing to ease the economic strain.
In his reaction, Obi lauded Lead Representative Sule for several new roads constructed in the state.
He added, “When I was coming today I saw some new roads and constructions, so congratulations. Politics is not always about thinking negatively, but we should acknowledge things that are positive”.
Obi said he was in the state to offer his contributions, particularly in supporting the people during the fasting period, especially in the sinking of boreholes in certain parts of Nasarawa State.
The former Anambra State Chief Executive said his visit was part of a cross country tour.
