Political Risk Presentation, 21 January 2021

I won’t embarrass anyone by name, but thank you to everybody who attended the presentation I gave yesterday, in which I reminded the Lloyd’s Political Risk/Violence market of the very important role my team plays and the value we add. This was the first time I have had to deliver a presentation “virtually” and that in itself was a new experience; we hope you found it informative, insightful and interesting.  You should all now have received a copy of the slide deck and speaking notes to digest at your leisure – please let me know if you haven’t.

I would also like to say a very big thank you to my team, who do an awesome job looking after your interests every day, and have done a great job covering for me while I was otherwise engaged in researching, composing and rehearsing the presentation over the last few weeks.

I should additionally acknowledge the help and support of the “production team” at DXC who helped pull this all together, made everything run smoothly, and offered so much constructive criticism through the drafting and rehearsal process.

And last but very much not least, I and the team say a big collective thank you to all our customers for placing your confidence, support and trust in us over the last few years. I do not believe we have let you down, and we look forward to working closely with you over the coming years.
