Political Parties Identities
Tampa Bay Times Jonah Goldberg's article asked if President Trump loses the 2024 election, would the Republican party survive his defeat? He also went on to state that the Republican party has been in an identity crisis for the last 10 years. The Republican party survived Donald Trump's defeat in 2020 and will survive again if he should lose in 2024. The Republican party's identity has always been and is still grounded in the basic principals that we need to have less government, less regulations, a strong military, upholding the constitution and never forgetting that we are a meritocracy. So no, the Republican party will not have an identity crisis. I submit that it is the Democratic Party that has had an identity crisis since the Obama administration forced its progressive policies on the American people, progressive policies that have led to anti-semitism running rampant in our country today. So let's pull the Band-Aid off quickly. The American people have realized that the word "progressive" when used by Democrats is interchangeable with the word Socialism which is one step away from Communism. That is why for the first time in decades the Teamsters decided not to endorse Kamala Harris. Finally, Donald Trump won the primaries by winning the votes of the American people. It is socialistic dictatorships that install candidates without any input from its people. How many people voted for Kamala Harris to be the Democratic presidential nominee?
