#COVID19 caused by #CORONAvirus is a #crisis of lifetime, Even many of the senior citizens has not seen such crisis in their Lifetime. Fortunately our able Govt of India has done great job to manage this crisis. However other parts of the world is facing such a severe crisis that even USA is saying that we may have millions of the deaths if entire Nation does not fight with it collectively. Italy healthcare system is already collapsed.
Hopefully in next 2-3 months globe will be able to combat this crisis however is it just the end of crisis?
My opinion is DEFINITIVE NO. It will impact the world in many ways. Today In this article I am covering Political impact. Though its too early to shape definitive opinion on political scenario but yet I am sharing it as initial thoughts.
- If the coronavirus causes an #economic #slowdown or recession in the #UnitedStates, then it could reduce the chances that President #Trump is reelected. In this way china will be successful in its mission to remove strong Anti-China leader.
- US may loose its political superpower status and hence its entire economic system may collapse. It will further be accelerated if countries rethink to keep their forex basket strategy. Amid slowdown in USD, and loosing super power status, Gulf countries may decline to sell Crude oil in US Dollars only, it will further force countries to reduce USD in their forex bucket.
- South Korea President Moon, facing a strong resistance from hundreds of thousands of citizens to remove him from office.
- Taiwan may get strong support from around the globe which is yet suppressed by China. However USA need to take lead on this. If China emerge as global superpower, Taiwan may face even tougher time.
- Japan is least affected with COVID19 however Prime Minister Abe may be forced to leave office earlier than expected.
Last but very important. USA, Israel, India, Taiwan and European countries may come united to combat china. Which even can emerge as third world war.
A happy development may be that China can loose UNSC veto power and its given to India.
