President Donald J. Trump is the same man I saw at CPAC 2011?

February 10th, 2011, I with the IUPUI College Republicans had the opportunity to attend CPAC. The special celebrity guest speaker is our current President Donald J. Trump. He felt that the power of the nation was in Washington D.C. and wanted to change that power back to the people. First, he said, “although I may not be a candidate for President, I will make a decision by June.” He decided not to run because he believed that we already had a good candidate in Mitt Romney was a business man like himself. Another factor was he believed what he was always, “that a man of great accomplishment and achievement cannot become a politician or run for political office because there are too many enemies, very smart and not so smart that they screwed along the highway of success.” So, Romney had proved that in spades, but unfortunately, he lost and we got four more years of the power in Washington D.C.?

Second, Mr. Trump saw that, “the United States became a whipping post for the rest of the world, that the world has been treating us without respect, they are not treating us properly.” The example he gave was in trade, “loves free trade, but not when it is manipulated,” and “that we should watch China and OPEC, because they are screwing us.” That was true as the Trans-Pacific Partnership grew and was being developed. Result also was the job losses in the United States as more companies left the America to build in other countries.?

Third, he saw the downfall of our leadership stating, “America is missing today quality leadership and foreign countries are quickly realizing this, it is for this reason the United States is the laughing stock of the world.” His vision saw that his background, “as he graduated Wharton School of Finance, as well as military school, both this educational backgrounds have come into play to shaped my personal and business relationships, with what I do and who I do it with.” Furthermore, it shaped his reputation, “for telling it like it is, and known for his candor.” He felt all this can come into if he ran for President at the time. He will fight for us.?

Finally, if he decided to run he made the promise, “I will not be raising taxes, we will be taking in hundreds of billions of dollars from countries that have been screwing us, we will be creating vast numbers of productive jobs, and we will be rebuild our country so we can be proud, our country will be great again.” Those were the promises he made back then, but these promises never changed as he ran to win six years later.

President Donald J. Trump Inauguration 2017?

January 20th 2017, President Donald J. Trump was inaugurated 45th President of the United States. His campaign ran on the slogan, “Make America Great Again,” the same slogan that was introduced back at CPAC 2011, when President Trump first was deciding to run. He has kept his promise that, “today’s ceremony has a very special meaning, today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to the other, one party to the other, we are transferring power from Washington D.C. and giving it back to the people.” First, he did it as President- Elect when he saved jobs in his Vice President Elect, Mike Pence’s, state of Indiana, as he saved jobs for the people who work at the manufacturing company of Carrier, when it decided that it was moving to Mexico. It was only a start, but a significant one that will stop us from being the laughing stock of the world.? Second, as President passing executive orders; pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the building of the wall between America and Mexico, vetting immigrants from Muslim countries and other countries that are a threat to America, etc. Third, allying our country with those that will respect us, i.e. Israel, Brittan and others. All this has been done in the first week of office and President Trump continues to break down the country before building it up to help us, “Make America Great Again.” President Trump is the CEO of this nation and the man this nation needs. Also, he is the same man I saw back in 2011 and I said, “If Donald J. Trump runs for President he will win.”
