Politechnika Warszawska
First of all, studying in the best University for Engineering in Poland, in Warsaw University of Technology, has been an honour. In this semester, I had the opportunity to study and to focus on various aspects and contexts.
I follow courses that gives me the principles and the role that a company nowadays need to take in consideration to be competitive in the market. The importance of strategy planning and all the tools used that are necessary to lead. I focus on the specification of all methods and analysis, inside of the company, to improve and succeed in the processes related to the production.
I also followed one of the most important course of my entire academical path: Innovation and Project Management. In my opinion the best course I’ve ever followed and I can say that it’s been love at first sight! All this knowledge are extremely precious and will be a starting point for my future career.
Regarding the typology and structure of the whole semester it’s been like diving in a ice (but warm) water. Coming from my home university I see a completely different approach and I really love that. I had the opportunity to flank the classical theory and frontal lecture with a direct dialogue with the professor, create projects and studying real business case. The opportunity to take part in thinking and giving idea of improvement to specific real methods approaches was completely unbelievable. It really put you at the centre of what you were doing and facing besides the classical typology of learning by heart from theoretical book.
During this semester, beside the university, this experience grows me a lot I could have never imagined. It gives me the opportunity to see a new reality, a new culture, how it is to live in such a big city. How much potential a city like Warsaw has and how much can offer you.
In this international environment I knew people mainly from Europe and also from other parts of the world. It's been a great occasion to have different cultural influences and the best part has been to organise and manage trips around all Poland and north Europe. I find myself speaking and learning different languages from Polish, to German, French, Spanish, Greek ahaha. But generally the thing I love the most was to speak English on a daily basis, and this aspect had no rivals at all.
This period really help me think about lot of things. Realising how many opportunities there are in this world, we just have to open widely our eyes. How many ambitious, inspiring people, despite the different backgrounds.
Thinking about Italy and his future. How much important is to have people able to govern a country and have an healthy benchmark with others countries. Realising how much impact has any decision. How much important is to invest in the future generations, have solid and long term plans.
Wasrzawo, pozostaniesz niezapomnianym wspomnieniem. To nie po?egnanie na zawsze. Dzi?ki za wszystko!
