Police Officer Struck and Killed

Another Police Officer Struck and Killed, I am not sure how often this has happened over the past year(s), but one is too many. In 2008 a waste collection worker in Ohio was killed by a driver who was not paying attention. Three days later another waste collection worker was struck in the same manner, luckily he survived. Shortly afterwards we started an awareness campaign called "Slow Down To Get Around". Now over 10 years later and over 14 states with new laws on the books, it is still happening, plus we are seeing more Police Officers, Firefighters and Fire Responders who are being injured in the same way. Tow truck drivers share this risk everyday.

Do we "Not Care", have we become so self centered that "Human Life Doesn't Matter", because we are in such a big hurry, we all have somewhere to go and we are all important, Right? Distracted Driving is a Hot Topic, but is it just that, something to talk about? Look around you and see the aggressive driving that is happening everyday everywhere. You don't have to look far, sometimes all you need to do is to, look in the Mirror! Yes, I believe we all get caught up in the action, it is human nature to compete. Aggressive or distracted driving is the issue and those Cops Issuing Speeding Tickets are a part of the problem, Yes?

OK, where is see the lack of enforcement, you see the most accidents. Please think about this, "Whenever you see a vehicle in the roadway, with flashing lights or not, Remember a human drove it there, it did not fall out of the sky. Look for the human, even the pizza delivery person deserves a Brake.
