Pokémon Go is the fastest game ever to reach $1 billion in revenue, according to a report from Sensor Tower. While the game is “far less lucrative now than at its peak,” TechCrunch writes, “the team behind the app has the nous and loyal fanbase to raise that on occasions.”
Samsung may build a US factory for its home appliances business as a response to President Trump’s criticism of imports, according to sources. While South Korean companies have yet to be specifically called out by Trump, “some have embarked on preemptive moves to ward off criticism.” The investment amount and the location of the tentative plant are still undecided.
Just after the UK Parliament overwhelmingly backed a bill to begin Brexit proceedings, the government has released a white paper outlining its strategy for EU negotiations. While most of the paper’s points are “a compendium of previously made announcements,” it reiterates plans to leave the EU single market and customs union, and it says the government would like to determine the rights of EU citizens in the UK before negotiations officially begin in March. In other news across the pond, the Bank of England left interest rates unchanged but raised its 2017 forecast — while warning that the bulk of Brexit uncertainty is yet to come.

Customization won’t be lost: Users say you can choose up to 10 images, with individual filters for each.
