Pointpack has started cooperation with the Croatian store chain Studenac
The technology company Pointpack and the grocery chain Studenac market are initiating a cooperation for the pick-up and drop-off of courier parcels (PUDO) across Croatia.
Starting today, Studenac customers can send and receive packages at their stores. The courier service will be provided by several operators active in Croatia.
Pointpack S.A. has entered into a strategic partnership with Studenac, the fastest-growing food retailer in Croatia in terms of revenue over the past five years and the retailer with the most stores. This makes Studenac the newest international partner for Pointpack in introducing additional courier services in local grocery stores. Thanks to the close cooperation between the two companies, Studenac customers will also be able to use the Cash On Delivery service. This collaboration is crucial for the development of international courier services and lays a strong foundation for further consistent partnership building in this area.
"We are constantly introducing innovations to make life easier for our customers. Seeing how important convenient parcel sending and receiving is to them, we have partnered with Pointpack. Together, we offer a solution that we believe will significantly enhance our customers' experiences. The joint preparations for implementing this service were extremely effective, and the interest from courier companies in Croatia wanting to join the cooperation confirms that we have a top-level offer, which is a 'win-win' for all parties," emphasizes Gordana Kartelo, Project Manager.
A Geopost study on e-customer habits shows that more and more people are choosing alternative methods of parcel delivery and pick-up. While home delivery is still popular, statistics indicate a decline in favor of parcels picked up at PUDO points (Pick Up & Drop Off). DPD, the first operator to join the cooperation with Studenac via the Pointpack platform, confirms this trend.
" DPD Croatia continuously follows trends and listens to customer needs, resulting in a significant expansion of our Out of Home delivery network, reaching over 1,300 points across Croatia. The expansion and density of the PUDO network are progressing thanks to new partnerships, which is why we are extremely pleased that Studenac has joined our European network, covering over 100,000 Pickup points across Europe" said Snje?ana Stani? , OOH Delivery and Network Development Manager at DPD in Croatia and Slovenia.
Through its technological solutions, Pointpack connects the Studenac system with courier companies and provides operational support to link the so-called 'first and last mile' in the delivery process.
