This month's member spotlight is Niketa Pechan. Niketa joined our community in November, looking to connect with other therapists working in UX/UI design. As a women's wellness curator with over 10 years of experience, she uses empathy and solution-driven clinical skills to help women discover their pain points and find solutions. Specializing in maternal mental wellness, Niketa leverages her background as a doula to empower mothers and women. Recently, Niketa was hired by Lyra Health as a blended-care therapist! The wage gap for black Americans continues to grow despite the vast DEIB efforts across our industry. Even when counting for education, Black women still earn less than their white male counterparts. As we close out black history month 2023, I hope that digital mental health companies commit to closing the racial wage gap, now.
