Happy Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month, and we are so proud to work with so many incredible women here at geekspeak! From our amazing team members to the clients we work with every day, some of whom are female founders and women-owned businesses, we'd like to extend a Happy Women's History Month to all.

That's a Wrap on the Black Business Catalyst Project

With the goal of celebrating Black History Month with real impact, we embarked on a 5-week journey throughout the month of February to elevate, support and showcase four Black-owned businesses.

Tre?solz, One More Cocoa, Swift Hockey and House of Tigernut moved into the geekspeak office to work closely with our team and industry mentors, taking their eCommerce presence to new heights. All of this was captured on film and shown through 5 short episodes, available on YouTube.

Catch up on the series here to learn more about each business, see what they accomplished over 5 short weeks, and find out about some additional wins that came out of this unique journey.

March's eCommerce Superhero

Each month, we like to feature a company that not only embraces eCommerce, but that innovates and acts as a leader within the online space.

For the month of March, our eCommerce Superhero is Up North Naturals! Local to Whitby, Ontario but available in over 200 Walmart locations in Canada and close to 150 Target locations in the United States, Up North Naturals is nothing short of impressive. Focusing on natural products for curly hair, Up North Naturals incorporates brand storytelling and beautiful visual content into everything they do. Catch founder Lisa Keizer on Episode 5 of the Black Business Catalyst Project, where she speaks about her journey as an entrepreneur.
