August's eCommerce Superhero

Each month, we like to feature a company that not only embraces eCommerce, but that innovates and acts as a leader within the online space.

For the month of August, our eCommerce Superhero is Staples Canada. Staples is known as "the working and learning company," offering more than just office supplies. With numerous programs and supports for businesses and teachers, Staples Studio locations for co-working and meetings, Staples Spotlight locations for training sessions and presentations, and engaging in-store experiences for kids and adults alike, Staples is a leader in retail innovation.

Last month, we partnered with Staples to develop an interactive in-store AR (augmented reality) experience called The Backpack Challenge. The game is aimed at kids ages 6-11, turning Staples stores into an interactive playground where children can find and collect different characters throughout the aisles, adding them into their virtual backpack for points.
